Scam, Loopholes, No Lawyers, Paper Pushers, Ticket Scam

TicketBust.com comes off as a legit service. You see the website, it looks legit.in a bit of worry about your ticket, you dont do enough research on what they are all about and send them the money thinking that if they dont win, you get your money back. How can that be a bad deal? For about 250 plus the additional fee of certified mail, they will send a trial by declaration letter for you.in most cases in the event that the officer responds, your out of luck.in my case the officer did respond, and my stop sign ticket (coasting through, non accident,) was not dismissed. I then asked them what to do. They informed me that I had to send them the paperwork from that guilty verdict, which I had just recieved in the mail. I sent this along to them in ten business days. From the day the judgement went down. I went personally to the court and got a trial date. I personally went to court to defend my case. This service does not provide you with a lawyer. This service is nothting other thatn a document processing service.in the event you are lucky enough to have nobody respond, or the officer not show up, then you can win. I would wagert that with the advent of the internet, you odds are about the same if you research the ticket details yourself, and write the letter on you own. It surely seems that this business is a scam with loopholes built in to keep them from ever honoring the money back guarantee. I suppose that I should have done more homework and found out that this specific site isnt the best. I was counting on the fact that I could get my money back if they didnt perform for me. They didnt perform for me and then invoked the fact that they didnt get the paperwork for the court appearance that I went to alone, the one that they dont provide any lawyer for. Becuse they got that 18 days from the day it was filed, although it was in fact ten business days, that they were keeping my money. I dont understand this. Why do you need the information for a court appearace? You are not lawyers. You are not in the habit of sending someone to help. What difference does it make that I sent you paperwork in ten days, or twenty. The bottom line is that the necessary paperwork was filed with the courts in time for me to go to the courts and defend myself. Providing this info to them in enough time to get that filed is what I did. It was filed, the case was set. What part of that should make it inelligible for a refund? I can see if you wait unitl the 11th hour and expec them to write a letter on your behalf explaining you situation and why the ticket was issued etc. I can see why that could eliminate the ability for you to get a refund. But there was no action required other than to set a personal appearance court date. That was done. And they still kept my money because that paperwork, although it was executed, and the court date was set, did not arrive in the office by some arbitrary time frame that they didnt make me aware of unitl it was too late? I just feel that this is unethical. I would not ever use this service again.
