I found tcketbust.com online and called them to fight a ticket I received in California. Advising them of the court date I asked if they could handle this case for me and on the phone they guaranteed that if they are not successful, that they have a money back guarantee. Even though in their agreement it said that they do not give a guarantee if they d not receive the required documentation 14 days prior to the court date, on the phone, they assured that they always have the money back guarantee because they are successful in 98% of the cases to either reduce or get the ticket dismissed, and they are not worried about the 2% of refunds they have to give.

Useless to say that they did not get my ticket reduced or dismissed. I still had to appear in court and the court affirmed that ticket had to be paid.

I immediately called the ticket bust representative and he advised me that he immediately will request a refund and that I will receive from the refund department my notification after they have reviewed the case and concluded that the ticket was not dismissed or reduced.

The argumentation went back to the point that they did not have ample time to fight my case and that in their opinion paperwork was not submitted in time.
I again called the representative and asked him about the decision and he immediately referred me to the Supervisor with the name Steve that handles the claims. Talking or arguing with this person is useless since all he has to refer to is his letter and no other arguments are valid for him. He states that they are a filing entity only and that it is still the responsibility of each individual to follow their rules. A $30 discount for my next case would be given to me. And after starting to question him he basically hangs up the phone.
What I have learned is that you either can file the same papers yourself or just accept the ticket.in the end you save money and time!

They live of our fear and defrauded people by giving them verbal assurances over the phone and use the stress of people to make a decision to give them money alleging that they are capable to help them which they are not!

I do not recommend anyone to use these types of services, either do it yourself, hire a lawyer or pay the ticket!
