We purchased a new home in May. On August 2nd, a door to door salesman for this company came to the door and gave his pitch. I was told because of our home's location, we were eligible for a free system. We agreed to have the system installed. (the guys who put it in, didnt even bother to clean up their mess). Twice the alarm has gone off, both due to our dogs.
When we called the company back, we were placed on hold for several minutes. Had this been a real emergency, it could have been too late. We are finally fed up with the system and have contacted them to cancel it. Now we find out that that slimeball salesman conned us into a 5 year term. It will cost over $2000 to get out of the term. We were never told about any contract.
