A few weeks ago, I decided to buy a new watch. Since I'd purchased a watch at this store almost 10 years ago, and it held up extremely well, I thought I'd give it another go. Big mistake.
The watch I bought, a very nice Bulova, is extremely undurable. After less than a week of wear at my job (desk job, in an office), the lens already had marks on it. Once I noticed, I immediately put it back in the box and went back to the store. Upon arriving, I was told there's nothing that would be done, not only because there was damage, but also because it was worn.
This is where I flew off the handle. The first question I was asked after swiping my credit card to buy the watch was if I wanted to wear it out of the store. So essentially, their return policy states that if the watch is worn, they will not accept a return. They are essentially enticing people to void the return policy immediately after purchase, which I view as a complete scam.
