My wife and i were going to declare bankruptcy. We visited Haines and Kreiger and were interviewed bya salesman who did not tell us his legal advice was not that of an attorney.
When we started the process we had to pay the fees up front. When we decided they were not going to be able to help us we requested our money back as was promised in writing.
When I called and asked where the refund was they told me they didn't have my payment information.
They asked me to send the information. They were unable to find it so I sent the copies of the canceled checks. They were unable to open them. I used windows office 7.
I sent it repeatedly until they said they had the information.
I have asked them repeatedly where the money is and now they tell me they have to have the attorneys review the refund.
I couldn't see an attorney during the session but I now have to have the attorney review my refund. I have been waiting three months. I need to the money to fix my credit and the advice they gave to stop all payments. Without the refund I can't fix my credit.
