Lottery winning scam london

I was sent a few letters in mail saying i won money. The last letter i received i called to claim my money. Said check would be here in a few days. I got check in mail along with a letter. The letter instructed me to call before i did anything with the check. I called the bank the check was from and the lady informed me that the check is not real and that it is a scam. The letter was sent from a kennedy trust inc and the"prize director" is max clifford and the manager accounts department is eva woods
