2 yrs before we saved Cyberdefenderis free application to safeguard against computer viruses. My partner improved our bundle and activated to some two-year support agreement for $254. The agreement was set-to end on 7/22/10 and we likely to get a repair notice within our mail in-box. It never arrived. On 7/21/10, Cyberdefender debited our bank account $424.98 and delivered us a notice thanking people for reviving our agreement together. The P.S. Comments mentioned that people might discover a money to the consideration within the quantity of $424.98. We never accepted this money. We never actually had an opportunity to restore the agreement. They got it upon themselves to restore us without our authorization plus they lifted their prices without prior notice.
I called Cyberdefender and described the problem towards the first consultant, who seemed puzzled. He kept asking me easily had two computers. I don't. He set me on-hold, then returned and questioned me if he might move me to some boss. "Shane" the boss refuted every criticism I'd and attempted to inform me that "every organization includes a to increase its prices." I stated, "obviously they are doing, however they have an accountability to inform their clients first!" He provided my two choices to please me: 1) $25 reward card, $40 gasoline card, and 6-weeks expanded support along with both year deal cost of $424.98; 2) 1 year membership for $249. I told him used to donot need his choices. I needed my money-back! Instantly! He endured to the stage of driving me angry and that I began to shout at him to return our cash they had taken. I told him his organization was uneven which I needed to stop the consideration entirely. I stated that they charged us without authorization and lifted our prices without notice and required an instantaneous credit to my bill. He explained he'd start the reimbursement within the next twenty four hours which it'd consider 1-2 billing cycles (ie: weeks!) to return me the entire amount. Obviously, I named my lender to truly have the costs corrected plus they are likely to document a state against Cyberdefender for scam. Rating!
