Summary of complaint or question: This complaint is against (Kevin Schmersal) of Lebenshuger German Shepherds of Bangor, Me.
The transactions was done at the kennel outside on a cold, windy and snowy day 3/2. The dog was laying low and we were told that he was just leary of us and that once we gave him a chance he would come out of it. He told us that he would lower the price from $1800.00, cause he had to get rid of him. When we brought him home we saw that he had a left hock that he was walking on rather than on his paw so much that he had a callous. We called he said it was normal... At that time I realize that we had gotten a defective dog, we took the dog to the vet and also had xrays done of his hip which was found to have one side higher than the other. We were told we would have to take him to a specialist. When seller was called about this he was extremely denying anything was wrong with this dog.
