I went to Garfield Refinery and brought 14K personal jewelry I personally owned over 20 years worth in scrap $850 and Silver worth $800 approximately. I was told my 14K which as a Jewelry Business owner in the past know I had 14K from reliable sources. I was told my gold was plated or metal and that I would not get paid for it and I lost out $850 for my precious gold I sold out of financial crisis. Now I don't have the money for it and I don't have the jewelry. BBB did not help me or show the complaint if i went online but online there are several complaints similar to mine if you google Garfield. These are not exact figures. They offered to send me the heap of metal which is what??? How do I know what it is? And who would buy it? If they took my valuable jewelry that retailed for double to triple what i expected to get paid. I wish I went online and saw the complaints before trusting them. Beware this company!!! I plan on contacting the District Attorney as BBB claimed my case is close without explaining why.
