At&t wireless offered a lifetime set price for cellular phone service by signing a 2 year contract with a monthly set price of $39.99 by signing up as a Charter Member a few years back. Now, at&t has decided that a "lifetime contract" means that a lifetime is only as long as at&t decides that it will provide service. Of course, at&t is still around and kicking but their charter membership for life somehow died! I guess my definition of lifetime is different from the corporate definition of lifetime. Silly me.
