Gulf power has been overpricing many ppl evidentally and claiming that we all used a drastic increase of energy. For many of us nothing changed in our power usage. Some of us even reduced power consumption to find our bill go higher for our efforts.
I moved in with my girlfriend and the 1st month into cold season the bill leaped in price. We set the heat down to 60 degrees *feels cold as h*ll inside* and the next bill was higher than previous.
We now turned the heat completely off and are predicting to see no change in our bill unless it goes higher again.

I feel that we are being taken advantage of due to their monopolizing with providing the only energy source for electricity services. Its highway robbery, and they can just claim we used the power even if we havent. Im quite certain they havent even tried to investigate what possibly could have caused everyones power to jump.
