Mark. Avon ripping off representatives

I became an AVON rep in the beginning of december. I paid my district manager the $10 sign up fee in person. I then went home and opened a website with Avon. I notced a $10 fee on my account and being overly eager to be in good standing I paid it online with a credit card. I discovered that the fee was the sign up fee that I already paid for in person. I have since contacted Avon numerous times (via phone & email) and all I get is a heavily accented person that only knows how to say " I understand.".

They do not understand as it is OVER 1month later and I still haven't gotten credit back. My district manager is non responsive and there is nobody in the company, thus far, that has taken my request seriously. They further spew statistics like "the average sale is $30." which is not the case in my reality. Avon charges their representatives rediculous fees for every little thing, and as I result, I OWED avon money for my sales during the last campaign. And now they are telling me my newest order is on hold until I pay them $41.00 when I only owe them $31.00.

So now because of their apathy toward their reps and their negligence to correct any outstanding issues, my commissions (as pathetic as they may be) are in jeopardy. I'm beginning to believe that Avon is nothing but a scam for it sales people. Furthermore it doesn't warm my heart to know that Avon has taken service center jobs away from America. They certainly charge their represatives enough fees to support an United States call center. Shame on Avon!
