I was approached by this company because they saw my email address on-line. The recruiter explained the job to me and was very persistentin getting me started right away. They promise that every company had set up an appointment with the company and I wouldn't't be walking in their business unannounced. The training consisted of 7 hours on-line and over the phone at the same time. He reminded everyone that he did not expect us to remember everything that he said that day but we would be starting the next day. I have been with the company one week and it is a total joke.
I spend my money traveling to these places that are not expecting or they have repeatedly told the company not to send someone. At this point I already feel like a total jerk. I have not been able to get through one presentation because they are already annoyed that I am there. I get objections and already being in sales I can usually get around them but still no luck. I have no idea how to explain everything so I have to call my team lead to try and get them on the phone with the customer.
This is completely ridiculous, I should already know all this information before walking into a small business. I urge anyone who takes this job to do their homework first, unlike I did. You are misinformed about everything and your team lead if you are not making sales is supposed to continue training for 10 days after the first day. The only training I receive so far was an e-mail we had one set up but he failed to call. Don't waste your time with this job a few are happy but more are upset than anything.
