BrickTrainShop advertises itself as a seller of Lego sets. We thought we were ordering a BatMan lego set, but instead got the assembly instructions only (for $45). We followed the instructions from BrickTrainShop to return the instructions for a supposed full refund. We have a certified return for the package through USPS. But we heard nothing for weeks. We followed up with email, phone calls - no responses. Eventually we contested the charges through our credit card.
We thought it was over, but today got a note from our hopeless credit card company that the seller claimed never to have received return of the package. This is a complete crock, because we have the certified return.
This operation is clearly badly run, operates deceptive advertising practices and - by the look of the reports on usacomplaints.com - has been doing this for a while.
Do not do business with this person.
