Rebate Ripoff. Sent me email stating I qualified for rebate but then decided I was not qualified

I bought a fridge 10/13/10. I was told by the salesman that I qualified for the rebate of 79.99 (reimbursement of delivery and haul away)
On 10/25/10 I recieved an email stating that I qualified for the rebate and should recieve it within 21 - 28 days.
I checked Sears' rebate website and today it tells me that I do not qualify. I find this a deplorable way of doing business. I tried to send them an email regarding it and the email will not go through, as if they don't want to hear from anyone. I then tried to call them and all I get is automated IVR's that don't lead to anyone.
I should have bought my fridge from Lowes because they told me that delivery and haul away was free. I would only have had to wait one extra day. I should have waited.
79.99 is what the rebate is suppose to be. It may not be much to some but I don't have money just sitting around waiting to be used for a replacement fridge. Needless to say I will never buy anything from Sears again!
