Engle & Volkers tried to sell me an illegal property in Rhodes.
I live in Rhodes and because I am German, I felt very comfortable with Engle & Volkera as they are a big brand in Germany. I thought that I would be able to trust them and assumed that they would not sell me something illegal. Although the sales person i was dealing with was Greek - Manolis Zervos, i still felt i could trust in the German brand. The house I was buying through Engle & Volker was in Afandou, but just prior to signing the final contract my Lawyer informed me that a lot of the meters were illegal, I am not just talking the usual basement or closed in areas, the property had other extra meters on top of the standard ways of gaining meters. As a reputable franchise I feel this branch of the chain really let me down. I am ashamed to say that for a German company their practices are unacceptable. I would not recommend them to anyone. Be carefeul of this company.
