I was shocked to find that when purchasing a Jeff Banks dinner suit, Debenhams handkerchief, dinner shirt and bow tie, there is not an accompanying suit cover/bag at no expense. I have shopped for suits in other stores such as Davis (Edgware Road) Moss Bros, Burton and Next and each time have received a free suit cover/bag courtesy of the company. The senior sales assistant was smug in insuring that this is what debenhams had always provided a plastic bag and that for a cost of £25 I could purchase one, on top of the nearly £300 sale I had just made her. The store in question is Debenhams, Lakeside. I was then instructed to write to head office as I had referred to my disappointment in the company as shameful.
