Overview: inadequate support on warranty repair at Sears. Following this and another poor encounter having a various Sears equipment (fridge), we shall not be purchasing anymore devices or extended guarantees from Sears.

Purchased Electrolux EL7020B vacuum from Sears Palmdale shop three years ago. Additionally purchased 5-year warranty at same period.in those days, there is an area (Lancaster - 10 miles) Sears service-center.

Previous month, on October 12, we required machine to regional service-center, which had shut, completely. Subsequently required machine to shop, where they moved it to some Fontana (63 miles) or Tustin (96 miles) service-center. We received equally locations at differing times. The repairs required were fairly small - wire retractor operating badly, damaged capture to put on wand vertical.

We were offered two-week transformation - longer than we anticipated but okay, we are able to reside with 14 days.

It Is today Nov 14, over per month later, and we still do not have the machine back. I wont bore you using the typical litany of grievances regarding broken promises and ineffective communications - you have noticed everything before and we obtained exactly the same lame reasons.

The reasons offered involved thinly veiled "if it had been a Kenmore machine, they'd have all of the components and would not need to purchase them." I would like you think about to get a second, the final time you or your partner required your automobile set for support and was informed that anything was damaged plus they'd need to purchase a component. Seller OR impartial storage, did you've to hold back PER MONTH for that component to reach? Much more likely, they got the component exactly the same day or occasionally 24 hours later.

Sears claims to truly have a support focused on the fix of product they market, and promotes clients to purchase extended guarantees on both Kenmore along with other namebrands. It's completely inexcusable for Sears to subsequently dominate PER MONTH to obtain fix components, wherever they originate from. This sort of disservice must and certainly will lose clients.

Recommendation: Help the local independent equipment sellers and restoration shops, where they remain. Weare equally more than 60 and certainly will let you know from expertise, we've had definitely better support from our little residents than from Sears. Sears does not worry about you or me, so long as we keep purchasing from their website.
