Ups has no theif prevention within the company... I bought a laptop from someone in Texas, had it shipped UPS to Louisiana and that is when it all started. I bought a very expensive Laptop (Acer Aspire 6920) and had a few upgrades done to it like the Hard Drive and the Bluray DvD Player/Writer installed. When I got it about 10 days later, It would not boot up to windows. I called ups to file a claim and they said the shipper had to do this... I said ok I had them pickup the laptop 3 days later and ship it back to Texas. I NEVER got a claim number for the return even though I asked for one several times and the one I did get was "you guessed it" NO GOOD. So I called Claims and Damages and in the amount of 52 days later, finially I get an answer that it was shipped off for inspection. Ok wait some more, 2 weeks later I was told it was sent back from inspection and then picked up again.
