I purchases a new Kirby, after 2 weeks the "drive motor" started to jump and pop when I use the vacuum. Two weeks later the zipper broke on the filter bag. I called the company that sold me the vacuum, they told me since I don't live near them I would have to wait 4 weeks until they come into the area again.
They gave me a date they would come fix it, the date came and past. I set up a new date, that date came and passed, now I can't get a hold of them. I called Kirby, they told me they would leave a message for them to call me but there is nothing they can do because Kirby of Western New York is independently owned.
So now I have this ridiculously expensive vacuum that doesn't work. Still trying to find a way for them to take it back, I will never deal with Kirby or any of their individually owned distributors after I fix this issue.
