Scam? Home Income Profit
I get called by some local number in my area, and then was confronted by a lady asking for me, and stating that she was from this site. And then she asked if I was not wanting to pay the initial fee of $140 or the $39.99. I complied and said "yes at this time I just do not have that kind of money being a full time college student." She 'understands' and was willing to wave the initial starting fee and send me the information and dvd to watch and see if I wanted this product. She also asked if I wanted a vacation to Orlando, FL for only $68 or something like that, I live in FL so I don't need to go there. So I declined.
She gives me my log in name (Email), my password, and the site i access my account (mytreasurechest.com). She said that the $2.97 was charged to have access to the website and to send the information. She also told me that I should get an email confirmation with in 24 hours (which i NEVER GOT). I get home to go into my account. I type in the web address you see above, and it sends me to website which is nothing but a "adult" website under construction.
I called (407-434-0349) the number I was called from) to see what was going on. I receive an automated message saying that this persons mailbox cannot receive anymore messages. Not thinking of it much I just let that go for that night. Then I called the number I wrote down, (1-877-304-1477) the actual "Home Income Profit" number (I believe) I spoke to another woman (Indian so I couldn't understand her very well and same for her to me). I asked "why can't I log into my online account?" She replies normally like any customer rep does. Then asked for the last 8 digits of the card I used, after I gave her my name and e-mail I used. She tells me "I'm sorry sir, you have not made a purchase with us yet." I FLIPPED OUT! I'm seriously pissed off that this "Legit Company" just scammed me! I'm calling my lawyer tomorrow if I do not receive the package from this company.
