Dealtime Auction
Dealtimeonline. Tv, Bresnan Channel 63 Non-ethical Company

This is a tv/internet auction. When you call in, you will give your name, address, phone number and part of your birthday to receive a bidder number to bid with. Then from 7 pm to (sometimes) 1 am, they will show items to bid on. After 12 items have been shown, they will show a screen to bid on them. They advertise at the beginning of the auction, you can place $2 dollar increments up to $50 dollars. When the item gets to $50, you must place $5 increment bids until sold. Then once you won an item you must pick it up that night before midnight or between 10 and 6 PM the next day. If you do not pick it up, it will be resold that night and your number will be suspended and you can no longer use it.

Today they suspended my number supposably because I was making too many $2 increment bids. Yet, this is what they advertise to do! Then another family member of mine called in and was questioning the $2 bids, and they told her I was suspended because I was "wasting air time by placing $2 increment bids on t.V.'s and computers." But, I have never bid on computers or t.V.'s because 1. I don't need them, and 2. I don't have that much money so spend at the moment. So after many phone calls to the place trying to get my bidder number back, I decided to go up there and speak to the "owner." The "owner" explained to me he wasn't the owner only the store manager, but I could just call in with a new number and the same name and they would give me a new number. While I spoke with him there, I had two other people with me. So when I got home I called in to get a new number and the lady told me I couldn't and put the "owner" Erik on the phone. Erik first said that he didn't say that I could do that (when two other people were with me to verify it. Then Erik told me that he received an e-mail back and I still owed some money for an item I had won.

I have never once not paid for an item. I always go either that night or first thing in the morning. So now I have lost my bidder number for two different reasons. 1. First, I placed too many $2 increment bids on computers and tvs. 2. Then I supposably didn't pay for an item... So I called back one last time and spoke with "Erik" to find out who was above him to speak with and he said there was no one, he was the owner. Going along with the owner crap again. Then he tells me I have to contact Sears and Sams Club. Also through my experience of picking up previous items with other family members, I have noticed people (Family members) not getting the correct items they bid on and receiving something different that they have no use for. I have also seen them not be able to find the items when you get there. I also have seen "dollar" items be mixed up. They will tell you there are 2 of the same items together, then give you one of the item you want and the 2nd item is totally different from what they showed on the tv. But those items are "as is" items, and cannot be returned nor will they take them off your list when you don't want them.

So you are paying money for something that you didn't want in the first place. They are very disorganized and can't find the correct items you won when you get there to buy them. They are also very unprofessional and don't make any effort to correct their mistakes. During the auction they also use a timer. At the end of the timer, the bids are suppose to end. But they don't. They usually run the bids for 4 to 5 minutes longer and the bids you placed and thought you won, are gone! I have also seen a lot of "new" products missing pieces or they are damaged. They also open every item on the show, then they don't put all the pieces back in the box (like the cords) so when you get home with your "new" item, you are missing a lot of the product. I'm very disatisfied and don't recommend buying from these people.
