This guy inherited my ssdi/ssi case a while ago. The first attorney i had was better but he left the firm. I have degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, osteoarthiritis and a possible meningioma in my brain. When i had my court date he sat back and did nothing. I dealt with the judge myself while this guy sat back and relaxed. About a month later i got a letter saying my case was denied. When i called the firm today to ask where to go from here and to see if i qualify for ssi i was sent to another atty who i don't know who told me she was familiar with my case. I never met the woman. Then she told me there is no problem with my ct scan results b/c she read everything but the summary (impression) at the end. To make it worse, the secretary had the nerve to tell me i owe them $100.00 for a filing fee or they refuse to release my case! In other words they are holding my case hostage for $100. When i signed my paperwork i was told "no recovery, no fee". Never, ever, ever no matter what you do go to ed berstein and associates they are worthless and i am more sick than when this case started and i am right back at square one.
