I was ripped off by the company, first because I was looking for data entry work & the site came up. I wasn't told what type of business they really were until I had provided all of my info., including credit card info. It turned out to be some kind of credit card accepting service, which I do not need!
I did not know that I would automatically get charged $149.99 a couple of days later. I closed the site, thinking I was done with the company & expecting only the $2.97 to be removed from my account.
I had been making purchases online for my school books & my credit union called to confirm purchases & that's how I found out about the additional charge.
I've tried calling & have been told that it was my fault for not reading through the terms & conditions. I tried to explain that I didn't find out what the company was about until after I provided my info. She said she would provide me with their service for 3 months free, but I have no need for their service. I told her I just wanted my money back!
The associate just kept telling me that I had failed to read the T&C & cancel in time, so there was nothing she could do for me. I said I would contact the BBB & she just told me to have a nice day.
