I delivered my boat bow thruster for repair. They completed the work and charged me $280. They said they had cleaned the brushes and replaced an end bearing. After installation in the boat, the thruster didn't work. I brought the thruster to the manufacture's representative and they subsequently repaired the thruster. Their analysis is as follows: "The control system negative wire was attached to the A2 brush set instead of the A1 brush set. The thermo switch was mounted on the A1 brush set but was mounted on the opposite side from where is should be. There is also a resistor wire that was not attached on the A2 brush."
