It all stated when there was work and parts to replaced in a commercial facility. The parts were purchased to be replaced and an extended warranty purchased on the replacement parts. The 1st third party (Equi-Gard) was the writer of the warranty. But when it came time to use the extended warranty Equi-Gard had filed Chapter 11 and at that time we were told to go ahead and repair the equipment and send the Invoice with the amount of markup that was allowed by the warranty company. And to send the Invoice to Federal Warranty Service (since they were covering the Chapter 11 and payment of all warranty claims) After 4.5 months with multiple phone calls and the BIGGEST run around I can remember, they (Federal) admitted they could not find the original Invoice) So a copy of the Invoice along with a W-9 that required to be filled out. Although the amount was less than $600.00. Well after 5 months the check finally arrived, BUT in the amount of less than HALF of the total amount of the Invoice. This has turned to be the biggest rip off of 35 yr of being in business... Just lies and a big run around.
