My situation is eerily close to the other victim. I was married April 25 and paid Stephen $2000 for our wedding package that included the photographing our wedding, digital copies of the photos and 3 story book albums. My husband and I live in Colorado and first met with Stephen in January for engagement pictures as an "interview". We liked him and the photos (digital copies only) and hired him to be our wedding photographer. "Our luck" Tiffany, his assistant was available the day of our wedding, so we were getting two photographers for the price of one - what a deal, right? The CD's of our pictures arrived a month after our wedding after several phone calls to Stephen. After 6 months and no albums I sent emails and left several messages to Stephen, all unreturned. I also had my wedding planner attempt to contact him.in October, he sent an apology email saying that his sister in England was sick, work was slow, his computer had crashed and they moved to a new building but that he would have something to us soon. He even sent a page of the book to prove he was working on it. At the time, I actually felt sorry for him and told him I understood things happen and that I just wanted the albums by Christmas for our families. It is now May and still no albums. My husband and I do not live in FL so tracking him down was difficult. The resort we were married at and had him on their recommended vendor list suddenly had no idea who he was and refused to help. I called the Pinellas County Detective but was told this was a civil matter and the only thing we could do is sue him. I had no idea how to find him. His website was down, the phone number I had for him no longer existed and since he claimed to have moved sometime after our wedding I didn't have an address for him; I assumed he packed his bags and moved to England. I thought about contacting Tiffany, but as it turns out, we only had her FIRST name and no contact info for her since she just happened to be available that day.
I occasionally google him to see if he has popped up anywhere and that is when I came across the other complaint. After reading it, it made me sick because it is exactly what he did to us.
