Saw ad for owner operators and called talked to nick sheppard sent all needed paperwork and was told to come on down bobtailed to philly read and signed contract was sent to pickup loaded trailer for nh no preemployment drug test shortly after was called by h roman of roman and sons trucking he told me that he owned the trailer and was owed a lot of money from manton trucking and he was calling state police to report it stolen i agreed to return his trailer as soon as i finished the run he agreed i fixed a tire that kept going flat was never reimbursd upon returning to mantons yard owner and president said he had every right to hold and use said trailer but h roman met me and took trailer but did not get paid for freight hauled and warned me. I told nick sheppard that i needed my drug test to stay in dot compliance he said ok but the cost would be deducted from my pay they told me to take other trailer and b tarlton said some money would be put in my account it never was next day informed n sheppard slack adjusters were bad on trailer they would back of 5 turns a day i was told to stop wining i asked for money again and they said tomorro i kept delivering their freight after spending 3000 dollars i asked for some money n sheppard said its not his department byron tarlton did not return calls and was always unavailable i explained to n sheppard that i could not do any more loads and he showed up at warehouse demanding paper work for freight hauled and told me to return trailer i did he then told b tarlton i had quit bad company to work for byron called me days later and told me to get a lawyer for slander and good luck getting any money because i called the brokers rockwell trans ect and they called him manton was paid i have not been i have to file in court for money owed cant make house truck ins payment because i hauld free freight i am 1 of many as it turns out after checking manton out they had towing rights suspended for overcharge and bringing towed cars to the crusher all public records byron tarlton mellisa magnuba aka mellisa tarlton and dispatch nick sheppard did not honer the contract and stole money owed to myself and others this is regular manton practice drivers and oo bewarned do not let this happen to you manton and rockwell trans are buddies and this is how they make money by not paying the people who do the work it seems myself and roman trucking will be a while getting our owed money how does a bad company like this stay in bus this seems like a regular trucking thing i have to pay for fuel tolls repairs ect but the goverment allows disreputable companys to change names rip off customers and violate contracts by not paying for services byron tarlton is not a man of his word i did everything asked and told some illegal overweight overhours unsafe equipment possibly stolen trailer to pay my bills but was used by a very dishonest company from the city of brotherly love! Dont get towed by them or repaired because it public record they will overcharge you and do not perform any service for or with because mantons will not pay you
