I recently aplied for credit card and was denied this suprised me be cause iv'e always paid my bills. Orderd a credit report and found that fingerhut credit advantage has two neg on it tryed to call fingerhut and was told the old fingerhut is seperate and the new fingerhut can't help me none, gave me number to call got automated machine that needs account #that i don;t have.
To make a long story story short i keep hitting brick walls trying to handle this problem Ive lived at the same address for 6 years and they have 2 other addresses for me that are not mine. Does anybody have any suggestoin on how to get this off my credit report. And also doe's any body know if you had to have a ss# to order from The Old Fingerhut. I hate to think that some one has my SS# Thank you
