A wedding is supposed to be a happy memory, those memories preserved. So I turned to Essential Memories Photography to preserve my essential memories.
My fiance and I first met with Brian at Essential Memories regarding our engagement photos... Essential Memories specializes in contemporary engagement photos and wedding photos. At first it was like a fairytale honeymoon: we agreed on price for the engagement photos which would also translate to our wedding photos. I was very pleased with that product. The Essential Memories engagement photos were fun and creative but I wanted to make sure my wedding photos were professional and focused.
I did a lot of research in magazines and planners for the exact photos I wanted to see on our special day and provided Brian with that list. I was assured that he and his "staff" would have every angle covered in order to preserve my essential memories. On the day of, needless to say, Essential Memories started the wedding photos late and thus pushed the ceremony back. Many of the Essential Memories wedding photos were taken in front of a school back drop - - not exactly the contemporary essential memories I had in mind. And on top of that, several inappropriate comments were made regarding "wedding night jitters." Something I'd like to forget, not an essential memory of my wedding I wanted to remember.
That day came and went and now all we could do was wait for our wedding photos, Essential Memories wedding photos to arrive in the 4 weeks time I was promised. Well those 4 weeks came and went and did another 4 weeks and another 4 weeks. A total of 4 months went by and nothing. I'd call and call and either got voicemail, no answer or told he wasn't available. Finally I issued some verbal threats - - they did arrive finally but needless to say, the editing was poor, the shots were poor and no my list of essential memories was not met by Essential Memories. Brides, DO your homework - - preserve your essential memories. DO NOT use Essential Memories for your wedding photos.
