I had to visit the irs office on peachtree street. When i parked there were only 2 options to pay. To pay for 1 hour or for 8 hours. I came out of the irs building 20 mins late to find a boot on my sons car. The orange sticker on the car gave a number to call to have the boot removed. The attendant told me that it would be $75.00. This had to be paid before the boot was removed. I noticed in small print on the sign in front money collection machine after i paid the rip off artist that there would be minimum $5.00 charge to remove a boot. This is one of the biggest scams that i have ever heard of. Can anyone tell me what can be done about these illegal acts.
