AJD or American Job Destination is a pathetic excuse for a company. They prey on unemployed people who are desperately seeking employment and rip them off. I was out of work and extremely strapped for cash, making my job for each day to find a job. I came across AJD and they promised the world to me, they said if they didn't get me a position in 6 months they would refund my money. They told me their fee was 16.00 for the first month, and I repeated several times to them that that was all I was willing to pay. They said it was all I would need to pay and I went forward with it. They did absolutely positively nothing for me at all, and when I received my credit card statement I was charged 96.00!!! When I contacted them about it they offered to cancel my subscription and refund 30.00. I told them that was totally unacceptable and that I wanted all my money back and they said that was all they would do, so I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charges. These slimeballs sent the credit card company an agreement I never agreed to, stating the membership is a six month membership. After six months you need to prove to them that you have not gained employment by showing unemployment check stubs. These scammers really did their homework on how to screw unfortunate unemployed individuals who are desperately trying to feed their families. They simply take your money and do absolutely nothing for you as far as finding employment. They have ridiculous hours in which you can contact them and their one sided agreement makes it difficult to get your money back. If they contact you, RUN!!!
