I worked for RRREXpress for a little over 3 months when I realized that they DO NOT tell the driver what the paid miles are for each trip, that way they can short change the driver and still get the loads delivered. When I realized this, I started looking for another company, but it was winter and with the economy being what it is, I thought I'd better just take my time and make the right decision with the next one. I was on my hometime over the weekend and we had 14 inches of snow on top of 5 to 6 inches of ice, needless to say that with the HEAVY LOAD I had and sitting in the wintery mix for 2 1/2 days, the truck was frozen solid to the ground. This happened twice and both times the company called for service to help get the truck to move. A few weeks later, I received a letter in the mail with an attached wage withholding form wanting to take $75.00 a week out of my check to pay for these service calls. I refused and found another job. I took their truck to their terminal in Cincinnati (bobtail) and turned in their company issued phone, charger, lock&key, and turned in all my bills for the week. Another driver had quit at the same time and was there also to witness that everything had been turned in. RRR Express not only held my last 2 paychecks, but once I did get the pay, they had deducted $291.59 for service calls, calling it "truck tow" which never happened. They took $30.00 for a phone charger and clip and the kicker...$250.00 for damage to LAWN and DRIVEWAY??? Really??? Its a small company of apprx 100 trucks and room for apprx 30. The truck was parked with all the other trucks and the keys turned in. Its pretty bad when a trucking company cant make ends meet by running freight but they have to "cash in" on their drivers. Its no wonder they have such a high turn over rate and cant keep drivers. They are advertising "hiring drivers" in the truck stop booklets but I urge you to beware, this company is NOT driver friendly and if anything they take money unlawfully from your check. I am currently seeking legal action against RRRExpress since they DO owe me over $600.00
