When you order Buxton wallet, beware of the automated phone order as they might trick you into buying other stuff for cheap and also they never tell the shipment charges.
I wanted to order Buxton shoulder bag organizer. If you buy one at $9.95, the other was free and you have to pay only the S&H of $7.95. After submitting the order, they kept asking about other products and in a hurry we just handed the phone.
After 45 days we receive a card from buxton asking us to confirm if we still are interested in the order (as we had hung up on that order. Thats what we assumed) We selected the option to cancel the order and mailed that card back to them.
In another 3-4 days we see a big expense of $111.60 from Buxton company on our CC.
They had ordered us 2 Buxton shoulder bags for $19.90 (one was not free).
They also had orderd 2 cell phone wallet of $59.90.
Each of these cell phone wallet had shipping & Handling of $15.90 (Total of $31.80) We called them immediately to complain why are we getting this shipment after cancelling it. They said its their mistake and asked us to return or refuse the shipment in order for them to refund the entire amount.
We returned the entire package to post office (return to sender) option. I checked my CC and only $19.90 is refunded.
Their explaination is warehouse only got the shoulder bags. What about the other stuff in the same package? Did someone lift the other items at warehouse?
Next time I called, they returned $59.90
One more call and the lady will return only one shipping cost of $15.90
Finally, I unnecessarily paid $15.90 for going through the pain above and for getting tempted to buy stuff after seeing the TV AD. Lesson learnt, never to fall for such Ads. Thanks Upset custome
