The truth and only the truth

I was a former employee of Mr. Anthony Patton. I spent a period of 10 months with his company and witnessed 1st hand A LOT of the similar types of dealings and activities that are being posted on this page.

There are soooo many different angles that I can go with to talk about my experiences at Mr. Patton's company. Ultimately, he's a likable guy and in social settings can be pretty fun, HOWEVER his business practicesare extremely poor and his bad decision-making adversely affects so many people around him.

Point 1: I'll start off with this, because this is where, I believe, Anthony falters the most when it comesto his business. Structure. There is none! Mr. Patton failed to maintain a firm foundation with anything that I can recall while workingwith him. I'll explain. Prime example was my position. I had a certain title, and that title included a job description with a contract. I literally can not count how many times the duties within myjob description got changed around and not with cosent. There were countless times where I had to do things that didn't pertain to me in order to pick Mr. Patton's slack. I eventually realized that this was going to be an ongoing pattern, but I went on. As far a number of otheremployess, that wasn't the case. The lack of structure caused for employees to literally come and go out of that office. The turnover rate in that company was embarrassing.

Point 2: This is important. I am not here to discuss what Mr. Patton does outside of hisoffice and/or the types of relationships or dealings he has with individuals not dealing with his business, HOWEVER, to a certain extent, this detail is relevant to my post. The problem came in when Mr. Patton could not keep his personal business outside of the workplace, and eventually, Mr. Patton's indiscretions turned into burdens that I had to deal with. There were very inappropriate things happening withinthe offices that Mr. Patton does not know that I am aware of. What made that situation worse was when Mr. Patton would try to use me to satisfy specific "promises" or "deals" he made with his indiscretions tohelp them further in their "careers". He would slyly try to push certain ideas to working with individuals that I knew had no relevance to his company. Several times did Mr. Patton and I have dissagreements to that behavior. The final straw in this situation was when someone accidentally perceived me as being the one to meddle ouside of a business situation with individuals. It hurt to know that I could be mistaken for that, and it's what ultimately led me to leave the company.

Point3: This point refers to the money issues and bad relationships he's developed with a number of businesses and clients across the city. Mr. Patton is not aware that I was receiving emails from a number of his clients in regards to not being paid for services and/or not seeing results to business deals. Mr. Patton is not aware that I developed a substantial amount of trusted relationships from his database, all of whom confided in me their mistrusts and angers towards Anthony for not delivering things that he had promised. Money was always an issue. My checks bounced on several occassions due to insufficient funds in the company's account. The example of the "receivables" cartoon is completely accurate. I was told the exact same thing. On a few occassions, Anthony would have to write personal checks on payday.

Phone lines were always on and off due to faulty payments. The buildingmanager where Anthony's company was at the time even filled me in on his failure to maintain steady payments with his office space, which ultimately led to his eviction.

Point 4: Something to know. Iwill not name names, and I will not give clues as to who I'm speaking of, but Anthony does not work alone in all of this. Mr. Patton is the one everyone sees and immediately judges. Yes, he's the prime player, but it doesn't stop at him.

As a former employee for Anthony, I felt impulsed to make this point NOT because I have a personal vendetta.

When I parted ways with his company, that was the end of that chapter for me. I could care less what happened after that, but I couldn't think like that after I realized that a lot of the people that Mr. Patton was hurting and would continue to affect were people that I knew and that I dealt with. I decided to make this post as type of awarenessto what's going on here. I once saw the vision that Mr. Patton had forhis company, and I believed in it, however, it was his mistakes and bad-judgement that have caused so many people other than myself to have acertain mentality about him. I witnessed the rise and fall of 1st Fridays. I witnessed the faulty creation and distribution of the Minority Report. I witnessed the rehearsed lies used to manipulate clients to believing that Patton's company was gonna take them to the top. I witnessed it all.

I've merely scratched the surface, but I think I've made it pretty clear that something is not right.

In Anthony's words once, "A viable asset..."
