I contacted Allstar Moving March 2nd regarding add for 2 men & truck for 45.00 a hour 2 hr min. I called back to set apt and went over items to be moved - informed them of 2 beds, 2 dressers, 1 desk, 1 couch, entertainment stand & kitchen table. I was quoted the 90.00 plus drive price was knocked down due to moving 1 block away & they stated they were local here in Chandler. They stated would be under 100.00.
When movers arrived they began moving furniture then one of the men showed me paperwork showing extra charges for stairs (they were informed all my furniture was upstairs) and an extra drive time charge - I stated that is not what I was quoted - they stated 'well there is no one in the office, its Sunday." They would not release the furniture off their truck unless I paid them in full cash only now its $237.00 - I was furious that I could not get my belongings back off their truck without paying over double what I was quoted - I tried calling the company & got no answer - I paid them then walked back in the house & saw they had dropped my entertainment stand - the whole front is bent backwards & broken - I have called them 4 times now since the 21st of March & have no response - I have spoken to operator after operator & have received no answer to this complaint.
