I ordered a movie from this company at a slightly lower rate than other sites I found on the Internet. A $19.95 charge began showing up on my credit card every month after that. It didn't register for a few months that it was not something I had authorized. The name under which it showed up kept changing. Sometimes it said HMS and sometimes BBV. I had already lost $100 when I finally realized it was not what I thought it was.
I called several times and could not get through. So I reported them to my credit card company who got a hold of them. They agreed to refund one month and cancel the "membership." Then they told me they would send my request for a full refund onto some phony committee who would contact me. Of course they didn't.
I still can't find on this web site where I enrolled in some club. I received no confirmation, no product, and no information about the services I was purchasing with my "membership."
I have run into this situation before and I thought I had become somewhat savvy about how to avoid these scams. This one is particularly insidious.
