This moving company not only ripped me off from my wallet, they ripped of my 62 inch television. They quoted me $2,000 for the move from Sugar Land, TX to Mission Viejo, CA. Once they loaded the truck and hauled my stuff away. They called the next day and said that I needed to pay them an additional $1,300 (in cash) or they will keep my goods.
I scraped the money together and they delivered everything except my television. They claimed that they needed more men to help them bring it up the stairs. So they kept the T.V. And said they would come back the next day. It's been 2 weeks and my television is not here.
I've called and spoken with the owner and he basically says that he will deliver it whenever he feels like it. He also has said that I can go pick it up myself, knowing that his office is over 9 hours away. When I demand to know where the television is, he laughs and says it's on the back of a truck getting damaged. Naturally, I get angry and he tells me to "sue him" if I don't like it.
I feel violated and unable to do anything about this. I just want to make sure no one else falls into the nightmare I have with this poorly run company.
