Derrick Johnson - Manager Mishandling payment toward my wireless phone service provider of loss of credit toward account

Both I and my boyfriend went in January 05 into Radio Shack - location stated. To pay my balance due on my wireless phone provider (Virgin Mobile).

As speaking to the salesperson working with me #300 (J A). I explained my purpose here was to pay on my monthly payment plan. And late charges due to a family member who was to take responsibility.

Of December 27 to pay my monthly payment plan while out of town. Which did not take responsibility of doing so.

And caused lost of service and with monthly charge due. And late charges due to turn service back on. I gave the salesperson my personal information to go into my account of my provider.

Into their computer and stating the total amount due of $58.65 which included monthly payment and late fees. As the salesperson accessed my account. I was stated the balance I told was incorrect.

I then repeated this is incorrect. Because, I have a text message from my provider showing the balance of $58.65. But, the salesperson repeated their computer shows in my account. The balance due is $50.00 tax of a total of $54.26.

I once again stated this balance was incorrect. And showed the text message from my provider of the correct balance due. Two other salespeople where present and overhearing conversation.

One of the salespeople was working with a customer. So, the other stepped over to work with the one I was disagreeing with.

And showed the salesperson how to work the balance due.into their computer. And stepped off to work with a customer.

The salesperson proceeded on with their computer with my account. And charged $54.26 without my knowledge. And asked for the amount of $54.26.

And stated your payment will not be due again until February 05. I again disagreed with the salesperson. The payment is not due on the date stated.

But, on February 27 and once again showed my text message. From my provider the amount owed and date due of each month.

The salesperson stated then go next time by what your provider stated. When coming in to pay charge on your monthly payment plan.

January 09 I was on conversation with my wireless phone. And Service was disconnected during conversation. I contacted my wireless provider.

Using my home phone to find out why I was disconnected. During a conversation on the wireless phone.

I gave information to the representative I had gone into Radio Shack January 05. To pay my monthly payment plan and late fee charges. To turn service back on.

The representative of my wireless provider went into their computer. And explained the salesperson of Radio Shack did not apply the charge owed. To your account of the monthly payment plan and late fee charges.

But, applied their charge to you as airtime. And this is cause of lost of service toward your phone. And the representative explain I would have to work with Radio Shack of this mistake.

Both I and my boyfriend went back into Radio Shack at same location. January 10 to speak to a salesperson of this mistake.

I was informed I would have to come back the following day. During the regular work days to speak to the manager. Since this was a Sunday.

My boyfriend at this time took business cards each of the manager and district manger. To know their names and phone numbers if needed.

And this salesperson I spoke to was one of the employees present. The day of January 5 when the mistake was done to my account. But, was working with a customer at the time.

Both I and my boyfriend came back in January 11 to speak to manager. The same salesperson was present of January 10/ and 05. And said the manager wasn't present at the time.

But, if you would like to wait the manager will be back shortly. We waited for over an hour to speak to the manager stated in report.

We explained the problem of the employee's mistake done to my account. And the manager explained he would step off to the back room. To call or email the district manager.

To see what could be done with this issue. The manager came back out and said I made no contact. But, emailed the district manager.

And we were instructed to leave numbers to call us back. After he made contact with the district manager. And he would reach us back before 5:00P.M. CST.

Because, this will be the time the manager will get off of work. At 4:45P.M. I contacted the manger back. And still had no contact with the district manager.

But, said had attempted more contact by phone and email. But, would have to stay at the job until 6:00P.M. And will have contact by then.

At 6:00P.M. The manager contacted me back. And said there has still been no contact back. And told to call back the following day of January 12.

And see if there would be any contact. I called at 9:00A.M. And still had no contact back.

I told the manager I have the district manager's number. And would contact the person myself. I spoke to the district manager's secretary.

And was asked reason of contact. I explained in detail the issue of reason. And the secretary explained the district manger wasn't in.

But, would leave reason of call and have me contacted back. I heard no reply back from district manager. And called same number at 3:00P.M. And spoke to a different secretary.

And explained in detail again reason of call. The secretary replied I see this on our computer. And will have me contacted back.

I seen I had but, no choice to call the Radio Shack Corporation help desk. Located in Fort Worth, TX. For a result.

I explained to a representative in full detail of the issue, dates and local contacts I had made. And had no choice of direction for a result.

I was told the company would contact the local district manager. To get a result from the issue from one of their employees mistake. At 4:34P.M. The manager contacted me back.

And said the district manager would refund $25.00. Half of the amount lost by their employees mistake. I refused the amount and said this will be turned into the Better Business Bureau and State Attorney General.

At 6:04P.M. The district manager contacted me. And said the offer of $25.00 was out of the kindness of heart. I refused and said if you where in my position you would want full refund.

The reply was then I will see if there really was an error. I replied this will go further with the Better Business Bureau and State Attorney General. I then hung up.

And have not had a reply back since.
