July 24 I signed a contract to work as an independent contractor (medical transcription) for Hearsay Transcription. I worked through October and was given various and multiple excuses over the ensuing pay periods as to why I still was not being paid, and many promises stating when I would be (which never occurred). Now, as of January 4 I have not received a penny and DeAnn McBride (owner) has not responded to my last emails. There are several other ladies who worked for Hearsay who are in the same situation as I am, if not worse. All we ask is that DeAnn fulfill her side of the contract she signed and pay us for all the work we did for her. Cumulatively, we are owed thousands of dollars.
