For anyone who has been cheated by Magazine Service Center: you should know that in 1996 they were investigated by the Federal Trade Comission and ordered to "cease and desist" their fraudulent business practices. Read the order (it contains the names of the individuals involved as well):

There is a class action lawsuit in the works against "Magazine Source" (their business name).
