I am also a victim of Cigarettes Direct to the tune of $357.54 which I don't believe I'll ever see again. There is no way to contact the company. Phone lines and internet presence are now indicating they are down for maintenance and can not take any new orders. That would be fine except they have already taken orders and not delivered. It is likely the owner is buying time so that they can liquidate and pocket the money they STOLE from faithful patrons. Ironically, I got an email from another on-line vendor for cigarettes indicating that the PACT law won't go into effect till early 2010 and to stock up now before it's too late. Guess Israel Chavez (the supposed owner of Cigarettes Direct) decided to get out before it was too late (lining his pockets on the way out). I wouldn't trust any on-line vendor at this point. I am skeptical about filing a grievance with the state attorney general. I still want to believe that they will refund the money, but their cutting off contact is such a bad sign. How can people be so ruthless?
