I ordered a simple. 99 cents service from Intelius.com for a name that coincides with a cell phone #, when my credit card bill came I was charged the. 99, then 2 additional charges. The first was for $24.95 to MVQ*Twenty4Proplus, and the other was for $19.95 to INT*IdProtect. Neither of which I ordered, nor did I agree to participate in their $10 cash back offer, I specifically hit NO on that page as I knew that would obligate me to purchase further offers. They still billed my card.
They obviously shared my credit card info with the MVQ co. As well, which I thought was part of the Privacy Protection Act. As this company IS NOT owned by Intelius. Very bad business practices.
I called Intelius as well as MVQ, I cancelled both services, and was told by both I will be recieving credits on my credit card, we shall see if this happens.
