The nightmare for me started with a simple phone call from hearing a radio advertisement on 8/18. I only wanted to order their so-called smokeless cigarettes for $9.95 for myself and my daughter. One week later, I received 1 cigarette in an envelope that looked as if it had be gotten out of a drawer in someone's home filled with merchandise that looks like it had been packed by 3rd graders. No invoice with the price of the merchandise was included and the instruction manual was filled with typos. Approximately 3 days later a charge for $179.90 was placed on my debit account and it has been hell every since.
For the next 3 months I received packages from this company like clock work along with 2 $79.90 charges. Finally on the 3rd charge the bank closed my account and re-issued a new debit card. However, because I don't have any proof that I sent the products back to the company (simply put it in a mail drop box) the bank has now re-debited my account. Now I am fighting this company and my bank to get my money back.
I wish with all that's in me that someone would take legal action against this company and the people that work for it. After trying for I don't know how many times to reach the so-called 800# I finally got through to a mindless twirk who told me "you had no choice but to get the additional products because that's part of the deal" after I told him I clearly stated in my "recorded" conversation that I only wanted the products they offered for $9.95. He then yelled at me "you need to learn to follow procedures" and hung up.
