They certificated me as being included in the Stanford Whos Who Black Book based on Inclusion is limited to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership or achievement in their occupation, Industry or profession. They also state that I qualified for inclusion. This is dishonest, misleading and nothing but a sales ploy, as there was no tangible measurement of my being qualified.in fact, I did not fit in to the parameters they described.
Stanford Whos Who solicited me via a fax sent to my number. I also had to pay an additional $29.95USD for my package which, consisted of a lame (probably computer generated) certificate with my name on it, and a glossy brochure - a total rip off!
Their website is set up similarly to a social media site, except Stanford charge exorbitant fees, and networking on is free.
Their sales staff failed to advise ongoing monthly access fees of $9.95USD yet they included this in very small print at the end of their welcoming letter of course after my payment was made.
They then went ahead, without my knowledge, to debit my credit card with the monthly fee. I emailed them to say I was reporting them to my bank for their inappropriate and unauthorized use of my credit card, and they reversed the amount they had debited to avoid any dispute action.
They emailed me requesting me to sign a letter that the dispute was resolved. I have not signed that. I did email them back saying I would take further action if they did not refund in full my membership of $218.95USD in seven days. That was on the 30th November. There was no response from them.
Sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company. Plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
