I have tried several times contacting this management agency with no response. Ever since Traci left Manageco, I have been unable to get any sort of communication from this company.
I was only returned $105 of a $350 refundable deposit. I'm in the military and the company was aware I was leaving the local area; therefore, I believe they thought they could take my money without a fight, which upsets me considering I was a very low-maintenance and responsible tenant.
I had a team of 6 people that helped with the move out and clean up ~ including steaming the carpets. Yet, the company still charged me $140 for cleaning.
They also charged me an additional $100 for the blinds, which were already noted to be broken on my move-in checklist, and also for normal wear & tear/patch & paint. There were no major holes or dents were not already on the move-in checklist.
As I understand it, (moving quite a bit in my military career and never having a security deposit forfeited in the past 12 years), normal wear & tear is responsibility of the landlord. So why is more than half of my security deposit being withheld? This apartment was left in better condition than it was when I moved in.
