I had a case back in 1998. A settlement of $45000 was reached in 2005. David Michael (my lawyer) never let me know. I found out about it this year. He claims he destroyed all records and must have paid me. No record of the check because he claims to have paid me in cash. Something no lawyer would do. I have complained to the state bar. Do not trust this scumbag lawyer!
