The Despicable Crooks at Point Pleasant Galleries Stole the entire proceeds of what I commissioned to be sold. I dropped off an aerial photograph of the Monmouth Hotel (No longer in Spring Lake) which was presented to former Hotel manager "James Ferrell". I commissioned the piece to be sold in the summer and was told that Point Pleasant Galleries wanted to hold it for an Ephemera Auction in August.
It wasn't until February that the Presentation piece was sold, and I was told by Anglia that I would receive a check in 4 to 6 weeks. The check never came, I've called repeatedly, and I've sent numerous emails only to be consistently ignored. As I understand from other antique dealers in Lambertville and Columbus, this is standard operating practices for Point Pleasant Galleries. If you want to throw your Money away, sell your items to Point Pleasant Galleries, I'm sure they would be happy to steal from you too.
How Holiday Inn would allow their good name to be tarnished by letting such ripoff artists use their facilities in Hazlet, New Jersey, I'll never know.
