The only real problem I have with WalMart is that several years ago, they boasted the slogan "Bring It Home To The USA" "We Buy American Whenever We Can" and had banners/signs hanging in their stores depicting an American Company they purchase American Made products from. I have not seen that in several years and in fact, most of the products they sell are imported.
Granted, this is how they keep their prices low, but as far as I am concerned, Sam Walton and family didn't make their fortune overseas, they made it here, in the USA with American dollars by Americans who work hard for their money.
What happened WalMart Family? You guys are doing just what K-Mart, WT Grant Co., White Front and all the other "discount department stores" of yesteryear did... Started with a belief in selling quality made products, primarily domestically and then sold out to foreign companies and importers for cheap quality and price! But, I can't say that you (the large Corporations) are totally to blame for this. If we, Americans wish to keep America's economy healthy, refuse to purchase imported products and find an alternative. If the "garbage" stays on the store shelves long enough and we express our concerns loud enough, they will eventually "get it"!
