I am a former employee of minch professional cleaning and i had no idea there were this many bad reports of the same problems that i had. I have four to five years experience and when i was hired was promised ten to eleven and hour. She told me that i would make nine for the first week probation period and when the time came she didnt wanna pay up. I worked very hard for kathy and all she did was lie to me. She told me that she was goin to offer insurance. Come to find out she didnt even have a insurance plan availabe at all. She has done this to many employees and they had warned me about it before hand. When hired she said they paid for mileage as well come to find out she will send you to doyelsetown, landsdale and jersey all in one day and then only pay you seven dollars a day for driving... I never heard of that in my life... She changs your pay rate as well and doesnt tell you until you ask her why you recived less money in your paycheck... So here i am thinking im making a certain amount an hour and she asks me to do flyers. Which i now find out is illegal because she has us putting them on peoples doors of their homes and apparently that solisiting and i can get arrested for that and on top of that she only pays seven an hour to do flyer no matter wat your pay rate is. Even if you make twelve an hour if you do flyers you only make seven. I cleaned empty apartments for her which are usually very good money. She said she gets paid a flat rate for the apartments and she pays us a flat rate which was fine with me but everytime i asked her wat the pay is she would beat around the bush. Then she finally told me and it was something crazy like twenty dollars for a one bedroom when me and one other girl would spend three to four hours in the apartment and we would have to clean everything including the fridge inside the oven the dishwasher... All hard work and when i did the math it came out to less then minimum wage and hour... I have cleaned vacant apartmentw before on my own and they paid me sixty to hundred dollars... She rips off everybody and now she wont give me my paycheck... Everytime i would get my paycheck money would be missing... She is insured and didnt pay me for an apartment that i cleaned because another girl i worked with spilled bleach on the carpet and kathy had to pay for it... Therefore i didnt get paid... Kathy is a horrible person and a liar... She pays her employees close to nothing. Tells them they will get a raise and promise them good pay and then when you ask her she looks for a reson not to or completely ignores you... She is the most unprofessional cleaning services i have worked with ever. I dont know who gave her a business but it should be illegal becausee she is running a sweat shop. I would work from 8 to 4 usually and bring home like thirty to fourty bucks a day sometimes. Which is impossible to pay bills with that... She does whatever she needs to do to look good and lies to everybody... I worked hard and got nothng but grief. I am a professional cleaner and i have a few trades and skills and out of every indusrty i have ever worked in this company is by far the most unprofessional company i have ever worked for and i feel sorry for her employees... She wouldnt give me my last check and in fact still havent recieved it. She gave me seven dollars cash and tried to spite me... She is a horrible person! DO NOT work for this women. I am not the only person she has done this to and she will continue to do it as long as she can get away with it
